Rythm House Music Shop was originally started by Mr. Sriramulu 1974. The Rythm House was actually a dealer for Record Companies like HMV, Columbia. The company was also dealers for Audio Cassettes. When Audio CDs started dominating from 1991, Listeners mostly switched from Vinyl records to Audio CDs and Audio Cassettes. But as soon as the Mpeg Layer 3 (called as MP3) file format was introduced, the MP3 CODEC enabled players came to the market. Since the storage requirement for the MP3 digitally compressed format of music is comparably 10 to 15 times less than the Audio CDs. When smart phones got introduced people were able to access online free music files to listen to the music. Usage of physical mediums was fading down.
In early years from 2000, very few started realising the real quality of analog audio. From 2010, Many people started listening to Vinyl records. Though people started showing interest in listening to vinyl music, music production in India has not fully equipped back to produce new vinyls. People those who owned the Vinyl records slowly started throwing these precious medium of music in to the junk room. We could realise the importance of those used / unused vinyl records and we started buying and stocking these used records in our store.

The music records are different in size like 7”, 10” and 12” and speeds varies from 78 RPM, 45 RPM and 33 1/3 RPM. We deal with all those types of records. We sell Original Audio CDs with which you can play and listen music from various CD players at your home, office and car.
